By order of the Director of the Communications Regulatory Authority of the Republic of Lithuania (RRT), PLLC Dokobit was granted qualified status and on 13 May 2020 this trust service provider was granted the right to provide qualified validity validation services for qualified electronic signatures and qualified electronic seals in Lithuania (hereinafter referred to as the “Services”). This type of service will be useful for those wishing to reliably check the validity of qualified electronic signatures and electronic seals of available electronic documents.
RRT’s decision as supervisory body for trust services was taken after establishing that PLLC Dokobit and its intended services comply with the requirements of Regulation (EU) No 910/2014 of the European Parliament and of the Council on electronic identification and trust services for electronic transactions in the internal market and repealing Directive 1999/93/EC (eIDAS Regulation).
PLLC “Dokobit” and Services were entered in the Trusted List (Lithuanian Trusted List) referred to in Article 22(1) of the eIDAS Regulation on 13 May 2020.
